Haverford College to host 15th annual girl's basketball camp this June
Haverford College women?s basketball coach Bobbi Morgan and Haverford High varsity girls basketball coach Bridget DiCave will conduct the 15th annual Haverford Girls? Basketball Camp June 24-28 at the Haverford Township Community Recreation and Environmental Center.? The fully air conditioned center, located at the Haverford Reserve, features four courts and 12 baskets for team play.?
The camp is open to girls entering grades 1-9 and will cover all aspects of fundamental play. Daily sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and feature stations, individual and team skill work, three on three, five on five and skills contests as well as guest speakers from local Division I, II and III? colleges. Staff will include Cabrini College head coach Kate Pearson as well as other local college players and coaches. The camp program is designed to meet the needs of both the beginner and the more experienced player. Campers will be grouped by age and ability.
